Reference report CEFEG GmbH: Integration of REDDOXX MailDepot and spamfinder

CEFEG GmbH from Chemnitz did not have a manipulation-free and audit-proof email archiving system until now.

As part of the planned changeover to a central IT infrastructure, an experienced regional IT partner was found in the SIGMA Systemhaus Chemnitz, which can implement an email management system from REDDOXX. This enables a long-term data storage and a powerful spam protection.

In addition, an implementation in Microsoft Exchange and the realization of an external access via smartphones as well as the setup of an alternative data storage on cost-effective storage platforms took place.

The challenge

A changeover to a central IT infrastructure was planned at CEFEG GmbH.
Since the Chemnitz-based company had not previously used manipulation-free and audit-proof email archiving, this was to be implemented in connection with the renewal of the IT infrastructure.

Reliable email management system of REDDOXX

With a combination of Fujitus ETERNUS storage, several PRIMERGY servers, a backup server and an ETERNUS tape library as well as the backup software Veeam, high data availability and reliable data protection will be guaranteed in the future.

Microsoft exchange and smartphone connection

As part of the implementation of the order, the previously used Lotus Notes were replaced by Microsoft Exchange. External access via smartphones was created by a smartphone connection via SOPHOS Central Mobile Advanced ( Mobile Device Management ). In addition, alternative data storage on cost-effective storage platforms were important.
