Renewal of Network and WLAN Infrastructure at TEMCA GmbH & Co. KG

Initial Situation:

TEMCA GmbH & Co. KG faced the challenge of outdated access points and switches, which were not designed to support future growth. Ensuring network performance and planning for expansion were crucial. Additionally, there was a need to establish the prerequisites for further digitalization in the manufacturing process, particularly in the area of WLAN.

The Project:

Before the project could commence, we conducted a comprehensive inventory and planning of the network structure in collaboration with the client. This included models, part lists, locations, and configurations.

Based on this analysis, we were able to recommend the appropriate quantities and products. Nearly two dozen LANCOM switches were needed to connect the central systems and end devices across several buildings, as well as redundant LANCOM WLAN controllers and industrial access points for manufacturing.

As a LANCOM Silver Partner, we could offer attractive project conditions. Thanks to our expertise, we also took over the configuration and integration of the systems into the existing network environment.
