Establishment of a redundant IT Infrastructure and enhancement of IT Security in the context of the new building construction

PROJECT GOAL

Embro GmbH, based in Auerbach, has opened its new location in Falkenstein/Vogtland to meet increasing production demands. The existing IT systems were no longer sufficient to support these growing needs, necessitating an upgrade and expansion of the IT infrastructure. Our project goal was to implement fail-safe server systems to ensure uninterrupted production and to enhance IT security for the protection of sensitive research and development data. The completion of the IT infrastructure was scheduled to align with the inauguration of the new location.

At the beginning of the project, we conducted a comprehensive audit of the existing systems to assess current and future requirements. We then developed a customized IT system, integrating and expanding upon existing components. During the implementation phase, we placed great emphasis on precise planning and regular coordination with Embro to ensure that all project goals were met on schedule. Our solutions include the Sophos Next-Gen Firewall for comprehensive protection and secure connections, CISCO networking technology for fast and efficient device connectivity, PRIMERGY server systems for high reliability, and Veeam data backup for dependable data recovery.

RESULT

Through the implementation of these technologies, we have significantly enhanced Embro’s IT infrastructure. The systems now provide increased performance, availability, and security, establishing a stable foundation for the new location. Embro was convinced by our ability to meet deadlines, offer competitive pricing, and integrate existing systems.
