BLE-based tool tracking at Moersch Elektro-Kältebau GmbH
GRAIDWARE® provides transparency regarding tools used
on construction sites
Moersch Elektro-Kältebau GmbH is expanding its existing service and installation processes with a BLE-based tracking solution for tools. The company specializes in the design, installation, and maintenance of refrigeration and freezer systems for butcher shops, bakeries, grocery stores, and restaurants, and also implements HVAC projects in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
To track tools digitally between warehouses, vehicles, and various construction sites, Moersch will be using the GRAIDWARE® track-and-trace solution from SIGMA Enterprise Solutions GmbH.
The goal of the project is to transparently track the movements and locations of tools, thereby significantly improving oversight of inventory and tool circulation. BLE-based tool identification can significantly reduce search times and help prevent tool loss. At the same time, stock transfers and movements can be digitally tracked, allowing for transparent analysis of processes in everyday construction site operations that were previously difficult to track. This creates a reliable foundation for more efficient deployment and construction site planning and supports Moersch in further optimizing its service processes.
Over the past 40 years, Moersch Elektro- und Kältebau GmbH has grown into a well-established provider of HVAC and refrigeration services. What began as a one-man operation in a garage is now a company with numerous qualified employees. At its Saarburg location, the company has a modern production facility with storage areas and office space. From there, Moersch serves customers within a radius of about 100 kilometers and also regularly operates in Luxembourg, France, and Belgium.
